Design documents and as-builts
Local-area and wide-area network (LAN and WAN) architecture, addressing, routing and switching design. Documented well enough that a different engineer can implement it without calling you.
Architecture, segmentation, and wireless design that survives the site survey. We design it, then hand it back to your team.
The call
The racking plan changed after the drawings were signed. The scanners ship Tuesday. The only wireless documentation anyone can find is a PDF the previous tenant left behind.
Your team knows exactly how to solve it. They just can’t solve it by Tuesday and keep the other eleven sites running at the same time. Some problems are bigger than your bench.
What you get
Local-area and wide-area network (LAN and WAN) architecture, addressing, routing and switching design. Documented well enough that a different engineer can implement it without calling you.
Predictive modelling and on-site validation surveys: heat maps, access point (AP) placement, mounting notes, channel and power plans. Ekahau-based, with the raw captures handed over.
Virtual LAN (VLAN) and trust-boundary design that separates operational technology (OT) from corporate, guest from payment, and clinical from everything else. The reasoning sits next to each boundary in writing.
Sized to the design rather than to a line card, so you can put it out to bid and compare the responses on equal terms.
How we work
We work back from the call you actually have to make, not from a discovery phase. Scope, deliverable and end date go in writing before we begin.
A single-site wireless design or a segmentation review is weeks of work. When the design is finished we leave. Open-ended retainers are how advisory work quietly becomes a subscription.
The engagement ends with a working session and a document set your team owns outright. No credentials stay with us, and nothing in the pack needs us in the room to make sense of it.
Why independent matters
We design to the requirement in front of us rather than to one vendor’s stack. The lead engineer is named before the work starts, and is somebody you meet on the first call. If the design you already have is sound, we will say so.
Every engagement is named and attributable. We do not white-label our work behind another firm’s logo. Who signed a design review is part of what the review is worth: an unsigned document is just an opinion held by whoever happens to be carrying it. Ours is a review you can put in front of a client, a board, or an auditor.
Where we hand off
We define the requirements and design the topology. Our sister division IZT CLOUD provides the SIP trunks and voice services when the design needs them. IZT TECH advises and IZT CLOUD provides, and we will say plainly when the answer belongs to them.
The rest of the practice
Tell us the decision you’re trying to make. We’ll tell you whether it’s an engagement, a referral to one of our sister divisions, or something you don’t need us for.
We’re here for you, so you can focus on what matters.
